This year I have to say my Christmas gifts were probably the most beautiful ever because I wrapped the ones I could with eco-friendly handmade gift bags I found on Etsy.  They are very affordable and not to mention you are saving the environment by not using paper bags!  Everyone I gave a gift in one of these bags had a fit and they wanted to know where they came from.  Marilyn Mac Originals is the Etsy seller who creates these beautiful bags.  She also makes purses, shawls, and other accessories.  You definitely need to order right now because they are 20% off!

I am so excited because Marilyn is giving away a set of her bags to one lucky Write Gal reader.  Simply go to her shop and tell me in a comment the Group # of the set you would like if you win.  You can choose one of her Christmas designs to use for next year or an everyday set for cute birthday gifts.  For an extra three (3) entries, you can blog about this post but please let me know in three (3) separate comments that you did so because the winner will be selected randomly.  The contest is open to U.S./APO addresses only please.   Contest ends at 11:59 p.m. on Monday, January 5th.

    At Marilyn Mac Originals my favorite set is the Organiza Gift Bags group 4. There are two bags in this set that could be used for special Anniversary gifts (e.g. Silver and Golden). The candy cane gift bag is Christmas, but I sure could have fun thinking of what gift I’d like to put in it for next Christmas and who I would give it to. I think it’d be a special bag for my friend Barbara. I know she’d go gaga over the bag, even before she looked at the gift. These are such pretty bags, made out of beautiful material.     I’d like the Organza Gift Bags, Group 4. What I particularly like about them, besides their delightful look, is that the person who receives them can use them as gift bags also, once again not using paper!

    The think the ones in set 5 are really cute (well, they’re ALL really cute, but set 5 especially)! I’ve been meaning to make my own bags for ages, but these are much nicer than anything I could put together 😀

    Oraganza bags look good. I’ve just bought some Christmas material at 75% off just today. Plan on making cloth bags that I can just toss in the washer and reuse. Bought kitchen towells on the after Christmas sale to wrap the womens gifts next year in. Please enter me, thank you

    I liked the Valentine Gift Bags; but, didn’t see a number. I’ll go with #1, since the Valentine Gift Bags were the first set shown . . . and if they are set #1 I’d take that set anyway. They are all beautiful and Earth Friendly.
