Oh my goodness! I remember when you were born! The last time I saw you, you weren’t much older than Holly. We’re cousins of sorts, I think. Your mom just became my facebook friend tonight (GO SANDY! I’m all about raising the average age!) and she directed me to your site. Very cool! You’re a good writer!
I’m Merle Sloan’s middle daughter. She and I visited with WD last week when I was in Kannapolis for Christmas. He’s the sweetest thing! I was smitten with WD when I was a little girl. He would give me coca cola in a bottle, when I would walk over to their house, after visiting with Cecil. Your mom, Janis, and my sister Kim and I would play a game called “Concentration” on the back porch of the house on Walnut. Peggy was such a dear, too! Good memories! I have lived in Athens, Ga for the past 20 years. I have three children- Caitlin 21, Samuel 18 and Sallie 9. Hope to see you sometime! I told Sandy tonight that we need to get the family together again…before Ruby passes away. Would love to see your family. Your little girl is just beautiful!
