No more Oprah? Say it isn’t so!

Access Hollywood is reporting that The Oprah Winfrey Show is going to end on September 9, 2011, at the close of its 25th season on the air.  Please say it isn’t so!  I love Oprah!  Oprah is supposed to announce the show’s end tomorrow during its live broadcast.  It is rumored that Oprah will be ending her popular syndicated talk show to focus on her new cable channel, The Oprah Winfrey Network (OWN), which is a joint venture with Discovery Communications.  Oprah announced recently that OWN will premiere later this year to approximately 70 million homes in the U.S.

I hope our cable network is going to carry OWN!  Maybe they will show Oprah reruns? What do you think about Oprah leaving the daytime talk show world?

Does the date she is leaving have any significance to 9/11?

Did anyone notice her plan is: 9-2011? Mmmmmmmmmmm makes one think doesn’t it? Does anyone have an inside scoop?

The TV world and women are sure gonna miss her….wonder if she’ll run for president in the next race? Interesting…..First black woman president with compassion, creativity, corporate smarts and faith….

I don’t think the date of the Oprah Show ending has anything at all to do with the 9/11 attacks but rather is the anniversary of the date her show premiered- September 8, 1986. So the date ending would officially be 25 years and one day on the air. I wouldn’t be surprised if she gets into politics at a later date.

I’ve already seen in the paper that she will probably still continue her show, but it will be on her network.

I have to say that I will not miss Oprah. I stopped watching her a long time ago. I have become very tired of her and feel she is so fake in many ways.
