My grandchildren are at about the right age to begin some serious sketching and this would be great for them to share. The Apple sketchbook is my favorite.
I don’t have any extraordinary reasons why I want to win. I just know my daughter would love the dinosaur sketchbook. She loves to draw, and is always begging me to buy her more paper. I think she’d get a kick out of the smencils. She had some smelly markers once and was so upset when they dried up and she couldn’t smell them anymore.

THey are kinda retro~ I actually like the one you posted, with apples and chicks. I think it has a fun vibe to it and is more me in the colors then any other thing. Why I want to win? Well I’m on a fixed income and school starts in under 2 weeks and all I have for my daughter is some basics. Its all just basic boring things some 5cent notebooks and old binders left over from her sisters some yellow pencils paper pack and a pair of scissors. Theres no bling at all. Nothing even cute. I live on $744 a month rents $300 and utilities add up to at least that a month. So after the basics plus food gas and insurance and my medicines, there’s nothing really left for extras. I know it sucks for all 3 girls and I hate it. Fortunately I’ve saved all the leftovers from other years.

I already have some Smencils that I gave to my grandkids and they love them. I would dearly love some more. I love the fact that they are made from recycled newspapers. Love the Glitter Flowers notebook.

I’m a teacher and I teach in a small Title 1 school. I have a student who has a real talent for sketching and drawing. I would give this to him as a gift. He would LOVE the smencils! I have to say that my favorite sketch is dinosaurs. I love the OWLS sketchbook and I have just finished an art class and would like to have a book to take with me to practice my technique.
i really like the owl design!
this would be great for my daughter to get more into drawing! i really like the owl design!
