Back to School Shopping

Cool Mom Picks Back to School Guide

It is hard to believe that school will be starting here in a mere two weeks.  My semester starts a week earlier which means I only have one short week of vacation left (Sigh!).  One of my favorite things about August is Back to School Shopping.  For a GREAT Back to School Shopping Guide, I highly recommend Cool Mom Picks.  Fabulous finds if I do say so myself.  Be sure and check out the coupon codes.  Plus you can qualify to win a prize pack valued at more than $700 if you post their button on your blog.

My favorite thing about August is the Little Write Gal’s Birthday.  It is hard to believe she will be 8 years old soon.  She hates that her birthday is always at the end of the summer right before school starts.  Check out my About page for a new picture we just had made.  I will post more pics as soon as the proofs come back.  You might notice that her hair is darker than it was in the last photo I had posted.  She told me the other day that she does not want to be a brunette and the she wanted to start getting highlights like Mommy! I guess she is 8 going on 18….(BIG SIGH)!

Happy Shopping!

I hate to tell you…but it’s about time to give Holly some highlights!

Dancing Lamb got her first highlights in 1st grade (just a few) and we’ve been going strong ever since. Damn that Hannah Montana! Curses!

It is hard to believe that school will be starting two weeks from today. Where did the summer go? It is even harder to believe that Holly will turn eight. I loved her new picture posted on your blog. She’s absolutely adorable and I’d say that if I weren’t her Nana.
